How Sites Are Reviewed I can only compare sites to what is currently out there. So sites are evaluated by how they compare to other sites I have seen. I try to formulate an "average" site based on the quantity and quality of content I see at a variety of adult sites. So sites score better if they deliver more than they "average" site. But don't get too caught up in the site's score. The "Site Statistics" and "Full Review" will give you the best information, and the score is just a general number to help you gauge how sites rank against each other. Since I am primarily a video guy, the video portion of the site is usually responsible for most of the site's score, except when the site is explicitly about photography. I really prefer high resolution videos that look good at full screen, so sites gain points for having high quality video, and lose it if they don't. I also want the movies to be downloadable, so I can save them to my hard drive. I also prefer full length videos, so sites that allow you to download the whole scene in one long clip get more points. Pretty much only sites that deliver full length, high resolution videos (over 1000k/sec) can make it into the 90's. Quantity counts. A site cannot score well with only a few videos. However, I do take into account the bonus sites a site has. So a site like Cover My Face, which only has a disappointing 20 full scenes, gets a 70% instead of a 20% because you also get everything in the BrainPass network, which is quite substantial. So if you don't care about bonus site, pay more attention to the number of videos or photos a site has instead of it's overall score, as the score is often raised by the bonus sites. Originality also earns points. Sites that do original content get a boost. It costs a lot of money do a custom sex scene ($1500 and up), and it is nice to see stuff you can't get anywhere else. Good looking women also obviously gives a site more points. I don't care about site design. I don't take away points just because some site has flashy graphics or complicated design in their members area. I just want to download some good porn, and the easier a site makes that to do the better. A perfect example is All Sites Access, whose members areas are hilariously simple, but actually extremely easy to navigate and get you to the videos without any confusion. All this gives me a general idea of a site's score, and I will adjust it to compare it to it's competition. For niche sites, I do not hold them to the same standards as more general sites. Not too many "fat women smoking" sites are going to have 4000 full length videos, so I don't hold them to that standard. |
