Video Box is simply the best site I have ever reviewed. No other
site even comes close. This site not only delivers the best user
experience, the highest quantity of videos, and the highest video
quality (if you select DVD quality membership), but it does it at one of the
lowest prices in the industry. I can only assume their goal was to
become #1 on all the review sites, and they have pretty much done that.
Their profit margin must be pretty slim, but obviously they are still in
business, so it is working for them, and frankly, what we get as surfers
is absolutely outrageous for $17.95, or even a more ludicrous $9.95 if
you don't need the highest quality. It would be a steal at $59.95/month
in my opinion. Simply put: Over 3,000 DVD's online. That's over
12,000 scenes. And they add 4 DVD's A DAY !!! And they are the only site I have ever seen where you can choose how much of a scene you want to stream or download. When you go to the movie page for a scene, it gives you about 30 thumbnails from that scene. If you don't want to watch or download the whole thing, just drag a thumbnail to the "Start Scene Here" box and another to the "End Scene Here", and now you can stream or download the section that you just chose, in multiple resolutions. I don't know how they do it, but it rocks. The video qualities available are 130k, 350k, 900k, and if you choose the DVD quality membership you can have 2400k to 3500k movies, which look awesome. The 900k doesn't look bad at full screen, but it is a little blurry. If you have a fast internet connection, go for the DVD quality. The scenes usually run around 300 - 400MB each at that resolution. The site is extremely well designed and organized. I don't need to explain it to you, as the tour is an exact copy of the site with the movie links disabled, so what you see is what you get. And that is quite good. All in all, if you want the most movies for your buck, this is the best site out there at the moment. And frankly I can't imagine anyone doing better any time soon. There is so much here I realize it seems like a scam, but it is not. I guess they are just trying to make a site so big and good that people stay members for a long time, and that is how they get their money back. I don't know. I just know you get an unbelievable amount for your money here. |
